Kids and baggage. How children are affected by their parentʼs homework.

• Children between ages 0-3 particularly sensitive to motherʼs baggage.
• Ages 0-6 often spontaneously let go of the baggage if the parents let it go. At times they need help.
• Age 5-early teens: Parents need to talk with them about undoing their defense and coping mechanisms.
• Ages 11-17: Older kids have picked up their own baggage and often donʼt want to change.

Be open about spiritual reality– teach kids that the spiritual realm is a part of every-day living.

Parenting tips: Allow teenagers to take responsibility for their own lives and choices. Give them to the Lord and let them become their own unique person. Donʼt expect them to fulfill the needs in your own life.
