This workshop is intended to introduce us to the important subject of our tears. We explore the topic of our tears from God’s perspective, for ourselves personally, and for all those around us.
Interestingly, Christianity is unique in its view of tears. Very few religions take note of the importance of tears in the way that Christianity does. For instance, in Scripture tears are the only thing about us that God says He both collects and counts. The Lord personally appeals to us to show Him, or give Him, our tears. Therefore tears are an important theme in both Scripture and on our own spiritual journey.
We also catch up with Scripture from a scientific perspective. Over the last 20 years modern science has begun looking at our tears, and making a range of remarkable discoveries about the composition of our tears, and what they tell us about why we are crying.
