What do we do, if we feel that some of the toxicity of our family’s history might be affecting us or our children? In this workshop Peter Holmes and Susan Williams set out how to map the patterns of damage in our family history. We learn how to see its impact in our own life and how to respond (Ex 15:26) so that the fullness of God’s redemption can be a reality in our life.
In Part 2 of this workshop series we use several maps to explore how to change those patterns, to bring greater freedom both for ourselves and for our children. We take some real life examples to describe how to undo the damage we might have inherited. We also discuss what you can do to help your children and grandchildren let go of the inheritance they may have already picked up, so they can live in greater personal redemption.
Dr. Peter Holmes & Dr. Susan Williams will help you to know how Christ can be welcomed into the pain caused by suicide and how to be a friend and support in the complex journey of grief that lies ahead.
Control affects many of our relationships and Peter Holmes & Susan Williams want to unpack that with you in this workshop. They explore what Scripture has to say about control, ways to undo the unrighteous control in our lives, and how to respond to others trapped in unhealthy cycles of control.
In this workshop originally done for women, Susan focuses on the ‘how - to’. She explores how so many of us become entangled with layers of unhealthy control. You will learn how to recognize its signs in your life, how to minimize the impact it has on others and of course how to be able to let it go.
